Oil additives? | Toyota Forum
Hey everyone! Well, I just finished changine my oil for the x'th time on my car. As I was pouring the gtx high mileage in, my thoughts turned to oil additives. Now, being a chemist by trade, and also having worked in the industry for nearly 2 years now, I know that there are only 2 clases of...

Nav sys can't see map DVD AND CD Door Won't Open | Toyota Forum
HH Limited. Today, I suddenly got a message on the nav screen telling me that there was no map DVD in the player. As I was on a road trip and following nav directions, I knew that it was indeed in there. But I decided to push the Open button anyway, thinking that if I ejected it and put it back...

Headlights turning ON despite OFF (Constantly On) | Toyota Forum
So I figure it is finally time to post here since I just completed a retrofit for my GF's 99 Camry. For lack of better term in the title, the car tends to have a mind of its own in regards to the headlights. When the switch is in the "off" position, the car tends to turn the lights on anyway...

what triggers the electric fans? | Toyota Forum
The driver's side electric fan is not coming on when the engine heats up. Its fine driving down the road but the temp starts to rise when not moving in traffic. Turn on the A/C and both the driver's side and passenger's side fans turn on. I took the relay out for the #1 fan and jumpered...

Handling Issues (Wandering) At Highway Speeds | Toyota Forum
My wife and I have owned our '08 Corolla since brand new. It is up to 162,000 miles now, and has developed a fairly serious handling issue. The car wanders at highway speeds (60mph+). This generally only occurs with some wind, on a long straight without wind you can take your hands off the...

0w-30 | Toyota Forum
And beyond temporary economy, the modern cars requiring 0w-30 will be damaged quickly by thicker oils according to Valvolineengineers - Ericthecarguy had an interview with them, so did Scotty Kilmer.

Is it normal for dealers swapping cars to drive them...
Yes. Cheaper for the dealer to deliver it to you, then pay the towing fees, unless they were getting product from the other dealer. Typically what they do is have a salesman (or other gopher) drive one of their cars there and drive your's back (so both dealers have cars with 199 miles on it).

What is a model year, and when does it start? | Toyota Forum
The previous Toyota we purchased ('08 Camry) had a 10/07 manufactured date - and when we purchased it in April '08, there were '09 models on the ground. In talking to several dealers in NE FL, seems like the '18 models are 'just arriving'. The previous few cars in the family had the 'new' model year start in the August/September time frame.
